Safety Officer Training

The course prepares students who could be designated by an Incident Commander as the Incident Safety Officer. This courses teaches students how to monitor the various types of incidents including fire, ems, technicals rescue, hazardous materials and report to the Incident Commander the status of conditions, hazards, and risks present. The course also covers accident investigation and review procedures as well as how to develope and participate in a post-incident analysis.
