On Monday January 16, 2023 at 16:59, the Westchester Fire Department was dispatched for a residential structure fire on 10500 block of Windsor Drive.
Westchester units arrived with heavy fire and smoke from the structure. A Mabas Box Alarm was requested bringing fire departments from Hillside, Broadview, Berkeley, Bellwood, Maywood, Elmhurst, and North Riverside to assist. Due to working smoke detectors, all residents and pets exited safely and no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
