Join us for two days full of reflection, connection, and celebration as we recognize the significance of Juneteenth and continue to build a stronger, more united village.

📅 June 19 – Freedom Walk & Flag-Raising Ceremony

🕙 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Westchester Village Hall

Begin the day with a symbolic 1-mile Freedom Walk through the heart of our community, starting at Grace Central Church and ending at Village Hall.

The route will take participants from Grace Central → Kitchner → Suffolk → Roosevelt → Village Hall, where the walk concludes with a powerful Juneteenth flag-raising ceremony. After the ceremony, explore a curated book display by the Westchester Public Library and try some tasty refreshments from Sha-Poppin' Gourmet Popcorn!

Bus transportation will be available to return participants to the church after the ceremony.

Sign up for the Juneteenth Freedom Walk!

Join us June 19 at 9:45 AM at Grace Central Church for a 1-mile Freedom Walk to Westchester Village Hall. The walk will be followed by a flag-raising ceremony in honor of Juneteenth.
